Agricultural Development Trust’s Shardabai Pawar Arts, Commerce and Science College established in the year 1991-92, has been at the forefront of girls education, who believes that education of a woman can change not only her fate, but also of her entire family. It owes its success to the foresightedness of two brothers, Hon. Dr. Appasaheb Pawar and Hon. Sharadchandraji Pawar, who endowed the college in the memory of their mother Late Shardabai Pawar. The college has a history of 15 years. It has a lovely, pleasant, attractive, elegant, exquisite campus, which is spread about 22 acres in the precincts of village Malegaon Budruk, 5 km away from Baramati. The college is permanently affiliated to University of Pune. Since its inception, it has come a long way establishing itself as a credible torchbearer of educational movement in rural background. The college has a glorious(envious) infrastructure with ample(adequate) number of classrooms, well maintained , well equipped and sophisticated laboratories, well furnished staff rooms. The college has central library with magnificent collection of books, a massive auditorium with all facilities for audiovisual presentation. The college has maintained the tradition of high standard and quality education and has shown excellent performance in the field of academic, sports, personality development , extracurricular activities, extension activities and others as well. Recently the college has been awarded Pune University’s “The Best college Award”. The peer team of the National Assessment and Accreditation Council, Banglore visited the college and awarded B++ grade.
